About F91W.Watch

A reference archive for every official Casio F-91W variant ever produced.

Why does this exist?

The F-91W has been in continuous production since 1989 and has spawned dozens of official variants. Casio's own website is inconsistent across regions and discontinued models disappear without trace. Every variant is documented here with its official model number, regional names, production status, and a buy link where available. The data is maintained by hand.

How it's built

Static site built with Astro. No database, no server-side rendering, no JavaScript framework. Just pre-rendered HTML, a small amount of vanilla JS for interactive bits, and CSS custom properties for theming. Variant data lives in a single variants.json file maintained by hand. Images are served as AVIF with a blurred placeholder for progressive loading.

Data and accuracy

Variant data is sourced from official Casio product pages, regional catalogues, and verified retailer listings. Production status is updated periodically but may lag behind Casio's actual catalogue. If you spot an error, flag it via the project repository. Buy links are checked periodically but availability changes.
